Despite being someone who actively avoid horror/thriller/suspense genres, this was a really cool collection of essays. The concept is cool to explore the connection between the horror genre and queer experiences/identities, but the execution did not disappoint! I would check content warnings, as certain essays included some triggering topics.
Moderate: Body horror, Child abuse, Gore, Homophobia, Misogyny, Physical abuse, Rape, Self harm, and Sexual violence
