I put off reading this for a little bit because A Tale for the Time Being is my favourite book and I was a bit worried about being disappointed by this one after reading the blurb. But I can now say that was a silly little fear because this was a wonderful, lovely read that touched me in all the right places. Was a bit worried about the resolution of plot conflict towards the end but it all got wrapped up nicely
