I definitely had a lot of fun with Mackenzie. She’s got the right mix of being headstrong while still needing to recognize there’s a time and place for everything.
I also didn’t expect it to be in the same universe as Slouch Witch. It wasn’t nearly as good because there wasn’t enough Corrigan, but I enjoyed the premise of trying to solve a murder mystery well enough.
