Did not finish book. Stopped at 1%.
DNF—As a Cambodian American I could not overlook the overt racism in this book. I am acutely aware of the old racism between the Vietnamese and Cambodian communities. Even still, this book could’ve been done without the hate and have a good storyline. Too bad I won’t ever find out because I have no intention on finishing it.
