Financial Feminist: Overcome the Patriarchy's Bullsh*t to Master Your Money and Build a Life You Love by Tori Dunlap

4.0

This was a very approachable guide to understanding all things money from the POV of a woman in a patriarchal world.

I did end up already knowing a lot of the information addressed, but it was good to have a refresher course on it. I liked that the book was written in a way that does not shame you or deprive you. I often feel that mindset is perpetuated in personal finance books because the audience is predominantly male, and it’s meant to be void of emotion. But money is emotional, no matter how you slice it.

I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn more about managing your money, or you just don’t know where to start. I think this would be a valuable resource in your arsenal as you figure out your money journey.
