My loan at the library is running out before I can finish this, and there are 173 other people waiting for it. I am not sure if I’m going to finish it or not when it’s available.
This memoir is going to be a treasure for 2 people: Harry’s children. It is practically a day by day account of his life up to this point. For me, it has dragged on and on. He needed a much better editor. Lots of this could have been condensed, rearranged, or cut out all together. It’s 16 hours. 16 hours!!! To tell the story of a 37 year old man’s life. Even if he IS a British royal, no one is that interesting.
This is not a tell-all. It is literally Prince Harry telling you his life. I understand why he wrote this book. He has been in the public eye his entire life. While he always resented it, it was always part of him. His whole life he has had other people who don’t even know him tell the whole world about his life. He wanted to control the narrative, set the record straight, and tell it his way.
I hope this was his final fuck-you to the media and and world. I hope he peaces out now and enjoys his long awaited privacy. I hope he is truly happy.
