i...really...ship this???
i'm so confused, i don't usually like the plain jane/~hottest boy in school~ who is a dick set up, what is happening
but like. his dickery is actually hilarious to me??? it's straight up pigtail pulling, he's like a five year old
also yoshida is hecka cute, like can i blame sato for wanting to stretch his cheeks when i totally want to do the same thing????
plus usually what throws me off with this set up is like the weird power imbalance/self esteem issues that tend to come with it, like the popular dude is generally awful and the protaganist takes it because they're ~lucky~ to be with them, who could ever love their plain self
meanwhile here there's a scene where yoshida just literally sits and is like 'yooooo why am i even dating you, you're such a jerk, i mean you're hot but that's it dang'
idk they just seem like they're good together! and super entertaining, i laughed at loud reading this at the bookstore. 3.5 stars
