Fast-paced fun read

As a fan of urban fantasy such as Jim Butcher’s The Dresden Files, Seanan McGuire’s October Daye, and Annie Bellet’s Twenty-sided Sorceress, the premise of this book appealed to me. It is a fun introduction into the world of Nate Temple full of fascinating characters, mythical creatures, and a plot that kept me hooked. Silvers has woven together modern tech, magic, and ancient legends into an enjoyable read. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series as well as his Callie series set in the same universe.
