American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld

3.0

I did enjoy this book, and I did find it fascinating the life of an American woman who then meets a rich man who then later down the line becomes president. But in between all of these cliched romantic notions are the little betrayals lies and indiscretions also doubts about self and the relationship. But I did feel it was too lengthy and I found the main character a bit off... occasionally I didn’t find her at all interesting or even sympathetic. It’s ok but not mind blowing and by the end of the book I kind of got bored.... it just was meh.
