Nothing Without You by Monica Murphy

1.0

The premise sounded ok but the execution was awful. Starting with the POV of Maisey whose still hung up a decade later on her ex Tucker who dumped her to 'screw different women every night'. Charming. Already this book lost me at a chapter in. The next chapter was his POV and it was even worse. I couldn't stand either character, they came across as immature, not funny and I hated how she's saying how tough she is and having sex with him like days later. And of course when he sees her all he thinks about is sex. He was a douche and she needed more backbone. There was barely any angst and the stuff that was was pathetic. I also found the cheerleader sister annoying. This tried to go for funny and charming and failed IMO. I skimmed through most of it just to see if I was wrong but nope boring and trite. The only good thing I can say was the writing was completely terrible.
