Impostor Syndrome by Kathy Wang

3.0

I agree with a lot of the reviews that I saw for this book. The concept of it is amazing - I just don't think it lived up to what it could've been. The main characters weren't developed enough, making it hard to root for either. Some of the extra characters and story lines thrown in were confusing and, in my opinion, didn't add to the story. And I didn't need a lot of the descriptions of Julia's childhood. I don't want to give spoilers, so I'll just say that the outcome at the end didn't seem realistic. Overall, the book was just meh - and that's disappointing, because it had the potential to be a real 5-star.
