The Forest of Vanishing Stars by Kristin Harmel

1.5

This story could have been told in any setting, including a fantasy one. The Holocaust is a poor fit. Either represent the struggle of Holocaust escapees with some modicum of realism out of respect, or set the story of prophetic, magical powers in the setting it deserves. Overall, it's boring. Thanks to Jeruza, we know she'll live to 101.
