This book is part of the author's Linear Tactical series book 10 and Susan Stokers Operation Special Forces series. It has action, recovery after domestic abuse as well as showing not only Marilyn but her two kids that Noah will be their strength to survive.
Marilyn Ellis is finally putting her life back together after her abusive husband almost killed her. Her kids will now have a their own rooms and she'll be the on-site manager for the new women's shelter. During moving day she meets Noah Dempsey who comes with the Linear guys, he too suffers from PTSD from a SEAL mission gone bad and knows that when Marilyn has an anxiety attack that sometimes having a friend being there is what she needed. But when accidents start happening Marilyn and the kids will be safer at Noah's ranch and that it's time to call in his friend Trigger to see if it's her ex-husband.
