I came into this knowing I'm not a fan of horror but wanting to go out of my comfort zone. This book is great, but maybe just not for me. Neverthless, I absolutely loved the writing. Ironically, this is the style of writing I hated so much in other books but worked for this story. Or maybe this author just did it better.
