it is a compliment to this author that i had so many other envisionings for scenes and dynamics i wanted to see on the page. it is impressive how few of those ended up playing out, particularly in the ending. a variety of loose narrative threads were also never tied up, which couldve been completely avoided by not introducing 3-5 new superfluous characters each book.
