This book is amazing and everything YA books need. The love story made me happy and I didn’t mind it being a huge part of the story (like it was advertised as) even though I’m not big on the romance focused books.
I really liked the adding of the reaper part to the story, as it gave the book that bit extra which I really miss in a lot of contemporary books. I did however wish there was more explanation on the reaper part of this book. I wanted to know more about the mechanics of being a reaper. I wanted to know more about Dev, Esen and even Deborah in a weird way.
I loved how Rosh was done and how their sibling relationship is portraited. I would have liked more Adara time, for me it did not feel realistic that Adara and Poppy never really met.
Overal a great book.
