The Measure of Katie Calloway by Serena B. Miller

3.0

This book was entertaining, fast paced, and spiritually uplifting, and yet ultimately forgettable. It left me not really wanting to continuing with the series.

I admired Katie's spirit in getting away from her abuser and her willingness to find love again in Robert. Robert was a good hero, a bit tortured, but ultimately a decent man. I enjoyed the descriptions of the setting, as it made it very easy to visualize!

Thing of it is, I can't really put my finger on what was wrong with the book to make me not want to keep going with the series. I guess I just wasn't impressed with it enough to want to continue.
