This spooky haunting thriller was a good read for the fall/spooky season. It was a little slow to start and then the last half of the book started to pick up and things were so much better. Seeing things and people in the house were definitely creepy, especially when it’s clear Marigold’s younger step-sister, Piper, was being sneaky, but pretending to be a perfect angel to her dad. Yeah, no thanks. I was not liking her character at all. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the ending just because it felt like it ended in the middle of the action. Overall, I think this is worth the read during the fall/spooky season.
