This was, in my opinion, the best book in the series. Things actually happened and eventhough some things were obvious, there were still some surprises. Luce was less annoying than in the previous books and I really liked the storyline. Never thought I'd say this but I actually even felt bad for Lucifer lmao. The ending made me happy and sad at the same time, and I was debating whether I should give it 4 stars but decided against it because it bothers me that
1.) There was way too little of Cam. I know there is an entire book dedicated to his story but I would've loved to see him interact more with Luce and Daniel;
And 2.) What did they even tell Luce's parents when she never returned home from Sword & Cross? lol
Overall it was a very nice book, even if it had some flaws. It gave the series a very good ending and eventhough I didn't even like the series as a whole all that much, it made me feel a little nostalgic.
