I’m not a fan of Cinderella retellings normally, but this one was quite good! The dynamics were more interesting, and the reveal of her identity was certainly more satisfying than I expected!
However, book!Benedict is an asshole of epic proportions. He was funny and sweet occasionally, which made him mostly redeemable, but good LORD he was annoying me.
Sophie Beckett though... I am in LOVE with her. I understand Benedict on a deeply personal level. Unlike Benedict though, I would treat you RIGHT.
