Skip Beat!, Vol. 5 by Yoshiki Nakamura

5.0

This was an amazing read. I think the manga is the best version of the story, but I want to give the anime and tv series based on the manga a chance as well. In this volume, Kyoko lands her first acting job as a chicken on a tv show. I think this role gives her a boost in the right direction when it comes to her acting. In this one, I also grew more attached to Kanae. I thought her character was very sweet and intriguing throughout this volume. I am in love with this manga. It is one of my all-time favourites. Also, I love the characters besides Shou. The ending was fantastic. Can't wait to read Volume 6 and I hope it keeps getting better. Overall, an incredible read.
