When I read romance, I reminded how sapphic I am. There were scenes here that I was like "she's doing this for a MAN?!" but I still found it cute that Amelia reciprocated Israel's devotion and love. They are so sweet together and I am so happy that they both had feelings for each other and there wasn't that weird friends to lovers thing where there was a love triangle for one person to realize it.
This was grown and sexy, but at times, it felt a bit boring. The sex scenes were nice, but I guess I wanted more tension as their love was pouring into each other.
