Everyone said to get the audiobook for this one, and I agree. Julia Whelan is a superstar narrator, and her book features a diverse set of accents that really benefits from a listen vs. a paper read. This was funny, poignant, and sweet. I liked the discussions of disability and finding one’s way before/after a traumatic medical event. The steam levels are actually pretty mild on this one. TW for dementia and memory loss of beloved family members, though it’s handled with great care. Liked it.
