It pains me to say that as this series has aged, it has not aged well.

This one didn't even really solve the mysteries!

The characters are still witty and there is the normal twists and turns, but it was ... I don't know if this the right phrase- but it was less sophisticated.  I still plan to finish the series, but am looking forward to earlier ones. (I'm reading out of order.)
