Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller.  5 out of 5 stars.  I read the physical book that I bought from Barnes & Noble.  Highly recommend!

I found myself cheering on the crew of the Ava-lee when they were victorious, crying when they experienced loss and booing the pirate king and his band of pirates.  Written from Alosa’s point of view, the plot was engaging throughout and just as enjoyable as the first book.  There is a little bit more steam between Alosa and Riden than in the first book, but nothing too scandalous!  Tricia Levenseller, once again, created a story showing the loyalty, bravery and daring of the crew of the Ava-lee.

I would definitely reread this book and am glad I purchased it for my home library.  Like most books about piracy, there is violence, but not too descriptive.  I would recommend this for anyone age 12+
