Animal Farm by George Orwell

dark reflective fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? Plot
  • Strong character development? It's complicated

I think this was a good book. Have I lost sleep over things that I read in this book-no, however I think that lessons and ideas touched on in this book are extremely relevant. One of them being that knowledge is power, which is a common theme across Orwells books. I think that anyone reading this book can understand that despite the full titleĀ  Animal Farm: A Fairy Story (that has been changed to not include the last bit), that Orwell is suggesting anything other than a fairy story and leans Into his satirical writing.
