i find this book very self aware and dont get why other people seem to disagree..? she acknowledges her privilage multiple times 🤷🏽‍♀️

it really is a shame it became a part of the “girl interrupted syndrome” bc while the movie might fit, the book just doesnt.. the adaptation wasnt very true to the book but i can’t complain tbh since i found the movie much more enjoyable and overall a better piece of media in general.
