More Than Her by Jay McLean

4.0

Genre- new adult romance

Characters- I enjoyed Amanda. She was a tough girl, shook off what life has thrown at her, and has a definite potty mouth. She's a bit different, at first, than some of the other YA female heroines. The author definitely builds sympathy for Logan, because of his childhood. I hate how he continues to be scared of commitment with Amanda. The supporting characters mostly add to the story, although there are parts where you can see their spin off stories coming.

Style- I snickered and laughed out loud several times. I loved the witty banter between characters, and sometimes even the thoughts in their heads. Layooked, anyone?! POV alternated between Logan's and Amanda's.

Errors-ugh, more than 20, punctuation, capitalization, words.....

Overall- cliffhanger. Sad face emoticon. As much as I enjoyed following their story, I wish it had ended differently. I'm not a fan of cliffhangers like this, especially when it feels like to me they have been through enough. But, since their story is not finished, I shall read on!
