This is my absolutely favourite in the Reluctant Royals series, and not just because it's the only f/f.
Cole does such beautiful work with the structure, using timeslip to create a lovely layered portrait of both the central relationship and New York life. She always writes interesting women and Likotsi and Fabiola are no exception. It's a total pleasure to go on their quirky dates with them. The trip to NYC in pre-pandi times is a bonus.
