Utterly inhaled this book following Violet as she reluctantly joins the Dragon Rider section of the military of Navarre, the most lethal and deadly and that's before you even graduate. I loved watching Violet evolve and grow, as she makes friends and enemies as she looks to survive her training and maybe even bond with a  dragon.
