Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

Did not finish book.
Eh. I went into this knowing nothing because someone told me I’d like it. It took me a while to realize the mom was going to be the main character, not the kid. I got the feeling there was going to be some kind of unplanned pregnancy for a woman who would rather not have kids, and I tapped out. Also, she wore her lab coat to travel across town and that’s bad form. You never know what might be on your coat. It’s best for it to stay in the lab (though we all cheat sometimes and wear it around the building).
