Don’t know why I was expecting this to be a middle grade read (especially after finding it in the adult section of the library 😀)

The inner monologue of the main character was quite funny but the romance felt a bit too physical if you know what I mean 😅 Also the ending was very chaotic (too much was happening 😵‍💫)

Might give the Gallagher Girls series by the same author a try, seems more like what I was looking for 🥲

Reviews from well-known authors that convinced me to pick this up:

Stephanie Garber
“Full of brilliant banter, clever humor, and so many swoon-worthy scenes, this was a perfect book….I can't remember the last time I had so much fun reading a book."

Lynn Painter
“…hands-down the cutest, most fast-paced wild ride of a rom-com I've ever read.”
