The Late Show by Michael Connelly
5.0
This is one excellent book.
One of the things I loved most about it is the way that is written, very matter of fact, sticking mainly to facts, less on feeling, thoughts, interpretations, second guessing that drags on and on for entire chapters. It's almost like watching a reality show into a LAPD detective's life with all the ups and downs, the ins and outs, all the crap that happens on the street and in the office. And through it all, the brilliant, sharp mind of one very thorough female detective at work.
The action is very captivating and the intensity of it all is very real. There are all kind of twists that add another level of greatness to this book.
I can't wait to read the next one.
