An Edible History of Humanity by Tom Standage

informative reflective medium-paced

4.0

What an interesting read! I'll be honest, involving more modern history to me was where I fell off a bit, but that is in part because I already learned some of this in my university studies. Regardless, I thought that this book was incredibly well-written, that it flowed easily and concisely while not being dry and pedantic, and was full of truly interesting bits of information that really get one thinking abut the food on their plate.

I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in history, agriculture, and long-term developments of society.
