Very interesting ideas about the nature of work and an AI run utopia, but this book falls very flat with the development of its plot and characters. Frequently, descriptions and explanations are glossed over or too pedantic. Nothing ever comes of the negative aspects of this utopia and there is no real critique of capitalism that would have added some much needed depth. Freudian and Jungian psychology applied to an AI was a fun thought experiment and held my interest, but halfway through I started skimming. You'll know when if you read far enough. Rated it this high because of the ideas behind it and I think some of the lackluster prose can be attributed to the translator who erroneously duplicated an entire paragraph, showing a lack of care.
