I'm still sorting through my thoughts on this book, really. A good part of it felt very rushed, and I don't know how much connection I ended up feeling to any of the characters. Some of the relationships felt very surface level, and it would have been fun to see more of Annabelle's life studying at Oxford. For being such a huge part of her character, we really never see much of her studying! But at the same time as I had my criticisms, I enjoyed my time reading this book and had a hard time putting it down, so it definitely gripped me. And as much as I'm not really sure how I feel about the story itself, I definitely want to read more by Evie Dunmore!
