Sad to say, I was a little disappointed in this book.
Maybe it was just my lack of being able to suspend my disbelief (like when the narrator proudly announces to the reader that he and his friends are all licensed divers).
Yes there was conflict, but it was all resolved way too easily. And the odds that something like this could ever happen? Nil. Not once did I think that something bad was going to happen to these kids. It was lacking suspense, which is something I crave.
The writing was great, as always, and I look forward to the next Brent Hartinger book, but this one bordered on ridiculous for me. Sorry!
