Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote

I really liked this book and of course its one of my favorite Audrey Hepburn movies. I loved reading Breakfast at Tiffany’s and couldn’t help picturing her the entire time. Like most books that are turned into movies there were quite a few differences. The movie was set in the 60’s and the book is set in the 40’s. In the movie Holly is a brunette where in the book she is a blond. Which makes her feel more like a ditsy call girl than a sophisticated society girl that Audrey played in the movie. I couldn’t help thinking how racist Holly seemed in the book and I am going to have to go back and watch the movie to see if I notice that more now than I did in the past.

The other stories took down a couple notches because they were so different and left me scratching my head and aren’t even worth mentioning in my opinion.
