The Clockwork Three by Matthew J. Kirby

4.0

There is a reason I love reading children's book and The Clockwork Three justifies my reason. It goes through joy, excitement, trauma, heartbreak, pain, melancholy and every other human emotions adults and children both go through, in a very simple and non-dramatic way.
I loved the characters, specially Giuseppe.
An interesting novel given that it was Kirby's debut book. The mix of steampunk, history and fantasy was very refreshing.

A good read for both, children and adults.
