oh my god. i started this yesterday thinking oh it won't be very good but its on my kindle unlimited which is running out in a few days so ill read it. WHAT THE FUCK. move over misery, this gave me everything i felt from stephen kings book multiplied by 100. i was so anxious throughout. i could hardly put it down. when i hit the half way mark i read the rest of it in one sitting. for such a short book this was so so good. one of the best thriller/horrors i have ever read. imagine misery and i am thinking of ending things had a baby, that tension and confusion and atmosphere was absolutely incredible i cant get over this book. there were so many twists and turns that i didnt even know what was going to come next. and THE GORE. jesus christ some of the scenes made me feel sick because they were so disgustingly terrifying. i had seen some good reviews for this but honestly everyone needs to give this a read, so underhyped!!
ALSO an afterthought im adding here. being broken down in my car is my worst nightmare, it happened once and i was so embarrassed, mad, and annoyed. being broken down in a blizzard is my second worse nightmare. now add in someone trying to kill you while you are STUCK. fuck me i could hardly breathe throughout. for me this was so so scary and fucked up i know some other people won't feel the same but i hate the idea of being stuck with strangers in a storm.
