Blood Sisters by Stephanie Keating, Barbara Keating

4.0

Alison's step sister Kitty meets with an accident, and is left paralyzed and unable to talk all she can do is babble which no one around her can understand.
Alison, an artist comes across a job opportunity as resident artist in one of the open prisons, she doesnt realize she will meet 2 people in there and she never thought she would ever meet them in her life - one accuses her of a crime and one claims to be her biological father, she is confused as her mom told her long time ago that her biological dad passed away - who is this guy then? and why is the other inmate accusing her of a crime?
Kitty has her fair share of problems, though in a care home she ends up becoming pregnant and her mom is left to wonder how to take care of Kitty!

Fifteen years ago, in the accident there was another death - Vanessa, Kitty's close friend/ blood sister gets killed - 3 girls - one dead, one paralyzed and one guilt ridden who self harms by cutting herself - this story revolves around Kitty and Alison, the climax of this book sounded like a well fit one and the surprise was good, makes the reader wonder what one person might be capable of to get her revenge!
