Cute little murder mystery. Agatha Raisin is a hot mess, but she’s self aware and has a good heart (kind of). Her relationships with the other characters are complicated and she’s a very entertaining character. This is my first mystery of hers.
Anyway, this particular one is lots of fun. It was hard to keep the characters straight but I think that’s on me. The narrator clearly put effort into differentiating the voices and it helped a bit. The ending felt a bit drawn out, but I liked it as a whole. :)

Graphic: Murder
Moderate: Death
Minor: Domestic abuse, Outing, and Alcohol
The murder weapon freaked me out a little bit. Should be obvious from the title, but venomous snakes are used to kill the victim, and I’m afraid of snakes. They don’t dwell on it much though, so didn’t do much more than make me shudder a couple of times.
