I would've finished this last week, but I wanted to finish it a day before I'm writing an essay on it at school, so I had to put it down for a while. This was a pleasant surprise; a quite nice and quick read.
Although I couldn't really relate to the main character, as I am not a middle-aged Swedish man, it was refreshing to read from a completely new point of view for myself.
What I really loved was that it was mainly focused on India. What a beautiful culture and land. The main character's, Göran's new Indian friend, Yogi, quickly became my favourite person in the novel and everytime he spoke, I felt as amazed as Göran did. So maybe that's the only thing I had in common with the main character.
