Thoroughly enjoyed. It was so well written.  The thing I really loved about this book is how the FMC was written.  A lot of books involving a strong MMC tend to paint the FMC as weaker/inferior when it comes to him. This book did not. She remained strong throughout and didn't just become this shrinking violet (excuse the pun) around him, yet there was no threat of emasculation. He respected her for it.

Though I feel that the content isn't suitable for a YA (it isn't smut, but the smex scenes are graphic), I definitely think that the FMC has qualities of a strong female role model.

I loved the slow burn. I loved the fantasy aspect as well. I went off the fantasy genre a long time ago, but this book reminded me just how much I loved it.
