Ellen Outside the Lines by A.J. Sass

4.0

This book included much better neurodivergent, specifically autism spectrum, representation than Where the Sky Lives. This narrative explored a lot of complex and mundane issues from changes in friendships to religious observations and gender identity on top of Ellen existing in a new environment and the difficulties brought on by her ASD. Some of the parts felt a bit didactic but not too much.
