Falling by Suki Fleet

3.0

3.25 stars. Not my favorite by this talented author. Despite Josh's struggles with mental illness, he isn't a very sympathetic character for much of the book, mostly because the details don't come out until the story is almost over so we have little context for his hot-and-cold behavior towards the adorable Angus. Some strong secondary characters, including Josh's boss and Angus' agoraphobic mom, help keep the novel engaging, but overall Falling is not as compelling as Fleet's Light Up the Dark or Foxes.
