I enjoyed this story - and understand how the stresses of life can affect a marriage and family. However, once again, the main character, Alice, should have been a bit stronger. Alice wanted to please everyone and a few moments of her standing up for herself would have made me like her more. She wasn't unlikable, she was just not strong enough - always bending to the will of others, letting herself get caught up in an online "relationship" and going above and beyond to be politically correct.

It would have been *great* if she didn't throw away Mrs. Norman's stash but went on a binge. She should have handled that entire relationship differently by actually doing something to make Mrs. Norman her adversary.

All-in-all, it was enjoyable.
