It was enjoyable to listen to this as an audio drama. I think it made it more engaging since it’s a pretty slow paced story. Overall I liked it a lot. It’s one of the original vampire stories and although the themes and tropes have been done a lot, this was one that did it first. It’s a bit melodramatic and over the top sometimes but I listened during a road trip and it went by so fast because I was so engrossed.
