It's in His Kiss by Julia Quinn

4.0

*It's in His Kiss* by Julia Quinn was another fantastic read! I’ve been quickly falling in love with the Bridgerton series, and this installment, focused on Hyacinth, did not disappoint. She’s sassy, witty, and utterly charming, and her interactions with Gareth were exactly what I was hoping for—filled with playful banter, undeniable chemistry, and genuine emotion.

As a mystery lover, I particularly enjoyed the intriguing subplot of family secrets woven into the romance. The quest to uncover hidden truths kept me hooked, and I loved how Hyacinth, with her sharp mind and determination, made it her mission to solve the mystery. Watching her and Gareth’s relationship unfold felt so natural—they started as two people challenging each other and gradually built a connection rooted in vulnerability and trust.

This book hit all the right notes for me—a perfect mix of humor, romance, and a bit of intrigue, all wrapped up in that classic Bridgerton charm. It’s one of those reads that leaves you with a smile long after you’ve turned the last page.
