The Battle of the Labyrinth, by Rick Riordan

4.0

I think this might be my favourite novel in the series so far. It was very exciting to read about the Labyrinth and all its tricks that kept challenging Percy and his friends. At first, I was a bit hesitant because I expected it to grow old quickly. Luckily, this wasn't the case.

There were moments of laughter and sorrow. There was also a healthy amount of suspense. I fell in love again with the sarcastic remarks and the sassy comments between some of the characters.

Quite a few loose ends have been tied together now. Some were jaw-dropping! I think that the author has done a great job at plot development in this particular part of the series. I'm curious about the fifth and final novel!
